Directions on the Polish Map

I use the image of the "rose of winds" to introduce names of directions to my students.
Then we take the map, for instance the map of Poland (or any other country) and students ask and answer questions about the location of popular cities.
(Where is....?     It's in the ............ of Poland.)
At the end to remember things better, students do written tasks.
Try my worksheet about Poland with your students:  direction.poland.englishbyann.pdf
They can find out about Poland.

Wh - questions

Question words are used in interogative sentences when we want to ask about some specific information. We put them at the beginning of a sentence, usually before so called 'helping verbs' (----> do, does, did, am, is, are, have, has...etc.).
It's good to refresh our memory from time to time. Study the above 'cloud' and try to do the task.
